Data and purposes
Browsing involves the technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP addresses, page requests and browser information. Optional statistics and advertising tracking are described separately and require your consent.
When you contact us, we process your name, contact details and the information you choose to share about your vehicle, journey or support requirements. The form requires a name, message and at least one valid contact method; you can include any other details in your message. We use these to reply, assess availability and feasibility and prepare a proposal. Without contact details, we cannot get back to you. Please do not include sensitive data or unnecessary documents.
Legal bases
We handle quotation and service enquiries to take steps requested before a contract and, if work is agreed, to perform that contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Technical protection and abuse prevention serve our legitimate interest in site security (Article 6(1)(f)). Mandatory obligations follow applicable law (Article 6(1)(c)). We do not offer a newsletter or use enquiry contact details for promotional campaigns.
Optional statistics and marketing
With Statistics consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, pages, campaign sources and interactions. With Marketing consent, we use Meta Pixel to measure visits and enquiries, attribute interactions to campaigns and enable advertising audiences. We also use Google Ads to attribute enquiries, contact clicks and calls to ads. After Marketing consent, for eligible ad visits, the telephone number may be replaced with a Google forwarding number reaching the same business. Google may process call data, including caller number, time and duration, to measure attribution. The legal basis is consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), withdrawable in Cookie preferences without affecting prior processing. No tag from these services loads before the relevant consent.
These services receive browser and connection data, cookie identifiers, visited pages and events such as contact clicks or accepted enquiries. Eligible campaign parameters are used after consent. We do not send form fields to trackers: names, email addresses, phone numbers, enquiry text or vehicle details. We do not use Google Signals, Meta advanced matching or Conversions API. How data are handled
Form notifications pass through Resend and Spaceship forwarding to the business Gmail inbox. Vercel provides hosting and site functions. Upstash manages abuse counters and pseudonymous references to prevent duplicates; it does not receive enquiry text. Site code does not write form contents to logs or maintain an enquiry archive in an application database. Providers may process additional technical data and retain logs under their own terms.
Data are accessible to the controller and authorised people who need them to handle the service. They are not published. Calls, emails and WhatsApp messages use the channel you choose; opening an external link also brings the destination platform’s terms into scope.
Retention
Received enquiries remain in the business email inbox. The site does not delete correspondence. No automatic expiry is configured for the email archive. For requests concerning retention or erasure of your data, contact the controller at the address provided.
Application references used to prevent duplicate submissions expire after 24 hours; frequency counters expire at the end of their respective windows, up to the monthly window. Technical language preferences last six calendar months. These periods do not determine retention of emails or providers’ own logs.

The services used may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Applicable terms depend on the service and subscribed plan; relevant documents are linked below. For information about the processing of your data, contact the controller.

Your rights
Where the GDPR provides, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@bazzisgarage.com to exercise your rights; requests are assessed against the processing involved and any retention obligations. You may also complain to the Italian data protection authority. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
